TRAI reduces termination charges for international incoming calls and MNP fee

TRAI has reduced termination charges for international incoming calls to wireline and wireless connections by 43 per cent from Re 0.53 per minute to Re 0.30 per minute. The new rate has come into effect from February 1, 2018. Further, TRAI has also reduced the mobile number portability (MNP) fee to a maximum of Rs 4 from the earlier fee of Rs 19, effective immediately.
