Drillmec International Private Limited has announced the spudding or the commencement of drilling of a new generation land drilling rig at Moran in Assam for Oil India Limited. The advanced rig has been designed with the capacity to drill up to 6,000 metres. It has commenced operations targeting an initial depth of 3,500 metres.
