Rajahmundry (Nidadavolu)-Visakhapatnam (Duvvada) Third and Fourth Rail Line Project involves construction of 198 km third and fourth rail line between Rajahmundry (Nidadavolu)-Visakhapatnam (Duvvada) stations at an estimated cost of Rs 98.89 billion in Andhra Pradesh. The section includes a 4.3 km rail bridge over Godavari river, 2.67 km viaduct, three bypasses and the new alignment is around 8 km shorter than the existing route, improving connectivity and operational efficiency.
