The GoK inaugurated four terminals under the Kochi Water Metro Project on March 14, 2024. The four terminals are South Chittoor, Mulavukad North, Cheranalloor and Eloor. The project involves development of an integrated water transport system, covering 78 km on 15 routes in Kochi in Kerala. It is partially being funded by the KfW Development Bank through a loan assistance and the remaining cost is being funded by the state government. The estimated cost of the entire project is Rs 11.36 billion.
