MoRTH inaugurates/lays foundation stone for six national highway projects in Rajasthan

The MoRTH has inaugurated/laid the foundation stone for six national highway projects worth Rs 53.79 billion in Rajasthan. The projects for which the foundation stone was laid include widening of the Dangiyavas-Keru-Nagaur section of the Jodhpur Ring Road to four lanes with paved shoulders, two/four-laning with paved shoulders of the Gagariya-Bawri Kalan-Sedwa-Bakhasar section of National Highway (NH)-925 and the Sata-Gandhav section of NH-925A, and widening of the Munabav-Sundra-Myajlar-Dhanana-Asutar-Ghotaru-Tanot section of NH-70 to two lanes with paved shoulders. Spanning a total length of 545.46 km, these projects are expected to entail an investment of Rs 36.31 billion. The projects which were inaugurated include widening of the Jaisalmer-Barmer section of NH-68 to two/four lanes with paved shoulders, widening of the Barmer-Sanchor-Gujarat border (up to Gandhav bridge) section of NH-68 to two/four lanes with paved shoulders, and widening of the Falodi-Jaisalmer section of NH-15 (new NH-11) to two/four lanes with paved shoulders. Spanning a total length of 398.17 km, these projects entail an investment of Rs 17.48 billion.
