The Committee of Directors on Investment on Projects of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has approved an investment of Rs 8.57 billion for the “Reconductoring of Tirunelveli-Udumalpet and Pugalur-Madurai 400 kV double-circuit lines with high temperature low sag conductors”. The project will be booked under additional capital expenditure.
The project is scheduled to be commissioned within 24 months from the date of allocation, with completion targeted by February 11, 2028.
