The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has imposed a penalty of Rs 350 million on eight telecom operators for not preventing unsolicited commercial communications over their networks between April 2020 and June 2020. The regulator’s penalties are on various counts of violation of the Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference Regulation.
