The Ministry of Railways (MoR) approved the Final Location Survey (FLS) for the Pandrasali-Kandra Fourth and Fifth Rail Line Project and Tatanagar Satellite Railway Station Project. Besides, Rs 18.12 million has been allocated for preparing Detailed Project Report (DPR) for these projects. The additional railway lines, planned to by-pass Raj Kharswan and Sini, are aimed at significantly enhancing line capacity and easing congestion on this busy corridor.
Pandrasali-Kandra Fourth and Fifth Rail Line Project involves laying of 42 km long fourth and fifth rail line from Pandrasali to Kandra in Jharkhand. Moreover, Rs 12.6 million has been allocated for the survey of the project.
Tatanagar Satellite Railway Station Project involves development of satellite project near Tatanagar station in Jharkhand. Further, Rs 5.52 million has been allocated for the survey of the project.
