ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned over 2 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity in Rajasthan, taking its cumulative operational storage capacity in the state to 591.18 MW/2,031.24 MWh across its subsidiaries.
The systems will support peak power supply and grid balancing as renewable energy penetration rises. ACME Solar also indicated plans to expand its storage portfolio to 10 GWh by 2027.
