RIL, BP start production from satellite cluster gas in KG D6 block

A consortium of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and BP Exploration Alpha Limited (BP) has commenced the production of natural gas from the satellite cluster of the Kaveri Ganga Dhirubhai 6 block. This block is being developed by RIL and BP, which hold 66.67 per cent and 33.33 per cent stake respectively. These blocks along with other blocks in this cluster are expected to produce a peak output of 30 million standard cubic metres per day by 2023.
