Zerodha co-founder has invested Rs 2 billion in hyperscale data centre operator CtrlS Datacenters, while entrepreneur Sreeram Reddy Vanga has put in a further Rs 500 million, taking the cumulative investment to Rs 2.5 billion.
As per CtrlS, the capital will support its infrastructure expansion and capacity build-out to meet growing enterprise and hyperscaler demand across India, particularly as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud and digital workloads accelerate.
The investment highlights growing investor conviction in India’s AI, cloud and digital infrastructure opportunity, CtrlS said in a statement.
