The Chhattisgarh government has inaugurated a 12 MW waste-to-energy plant in Raipur. The project has been implemented by Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited in Sakri district of Raipur, Chhattisgarh, at a cost of Rs 1.27 billion to treat 700 tonnes of waste per day. The plant has been built on a PPP basis across 67 acres of land along with a scientific landfill.
