Noida International Airport in Uttar Pradesh commenced commercial operations on June 15, 2026.
IndiGo became the first airline to operate from the airport, with the inaugural flight arriving from Lucknow and the first outbound flight departing for Bengaluru. The airport will initially focus on domestic operations, while international flights are expected to begin in the coming months.
In Phase 1, the airport will handle up to 12 million passengers per annum (mppa). The airport also includes dedicated air cargo infrastructure developed by Air India SATS (AISATS), starting with an annual handling capacity of 200,000 metric tonnes and with future expansion planned to reach 1.5 million tonnes.
