Edelweiss Alternatives and Japan Expressway International (Jersey) have entered into a strategic partnership to invest in India’s transport infrastructure and exchange technical expertise. The arrangement combines investment with operational cooperation in the highway sector.
The partnership will allow JEXWAY to gain exposure to India’s expanding road infrastructure market, while Edelweiss Alternatives will leverage Japanese expertise in expressway operations and asset management. The two companies will collaborate through investment and a long-term technical services arrangement. JEXWAY will make a capital investment in Citius TransNet Investment Trust, managed by EAAA TransInfra Managers, an Edelweiss Alternatives entity. The investment will provide JEXWAY with exposure to an established portfolio of Indian transport infrastructure assets.
