Ashoka Buildcon Limited has received a letter of acceptance from North Eastern Railway (NER) for an engineering, procurement and construction project worth Rs 2.9 billion in the Gorakhpur Cantt-Chhapra Gramin section of Varanasi Division.
The scope of the project encompasses the design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of traction substations along with associated switching posts for a 2×25 kV autotransformer traction feeding system. The work forms part of the capacity augmentation of electric traction power supply installations and is scheduled for completion within 24 months from the date of commencement.
