Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has commissioned the transmission project for evacuation of power from renewable energy zones in Rajasthan (20 GW) under Phase III Part-C1.
The project was originally entrusted to POWERGRID Ramgarh II Transmission Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of POWERGRID. Following a Ministry of Corporate Affairs order, the subsidiary was amalgamated with POWERGRID Vataman Transmission Limited.
