POWERGRID commissions transmission network expansion project in Gujarat

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has commissioned the “Transmission Network
Expansion in Gujarat to increase available transfer capability (ATC) from the inter-state transmission system
(ISTS), Part-B” project.
The project achieved commercial operation on May 13, 2026. POWERGRID received confirmation of the
declaration of commercial operation on June 3, 2026.
