Kandla Container Terminal handles record cargo during FY 2025-26

Kandla Container Terminal, operated by the J M Baxi Group, has been recognised as the fastest-growing terminal at Kandla during the FY 2025-26 Annual Recognition Awards by the Deendayal Port Authority. The terminal handled 632,033 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) and 10.87 million tonnes of cargo, achieving a notable 54 per cent growth in throughput. This strong performance significantly contributed to the port authority’s overall cargo handling of over 160 million tonnes.
