The Uttar Pradesh government has approved an interest-free loan of Rs 24.74 billion for the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA). The funding will support land acquisition and industrial development in the expressway region. The loan has been sanctioned under the Industrial Area Expansion and New Industrial Area Promotion Scheme for the 2025–26 financial year. This allocation forms part of the Rs 55 billion earmarked under the scheme for 2025-26.
