The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) conducted a safety inspection on the 39.75 km long Adraj Moti-Bijapur section of the Adraj Moti-Viajapur Gauge Conversion Project on December 29 and December 30, 2025. Besides, speed trials were conducted on the stretch at the speed of 120 kmph.
The project involves gauge conversion of a 39.85 km long Adraj Moti-Vijapur railway line in Gujarat and Maharashtra respectively. It was sanctioned in the Railway Budget 2017-18.
