Kandla International Container Terminal (KICT), operated under Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) in Gujarat, achieved its highest ever monthly container throughput in October 2025, handling 60,708 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). It has surpassed its previous record of handling 56,955 TEUs of container throughput in March 2025.
The milestone underscores strong operational performance, enhanced berth productivity and growing trade flows through the port.
