Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has conducted trial runs on the Maan Depot-Balewadi stretch under the Hinjewadi-Shivajinagar Metro Rail Project (Corridor 3 of Pune Metro) on August 27, 2025.
The Corridor 3 of Pune Metro involves development of a 23.3 km long metro rail system connecting Hinjewadi IT Park to Shivajinagar in Pune, Maharashtra. It is being implemented on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis under a public-private partnership mode. It will be entirely elevated corridor, comprising a total of 23 stations.
