About 90 per cent of the construction work on the North Guwahati Water Supply Project in Assam has been completed. The work is likely to be completed by August 2025.
The scope of the project includes providing 37 mld water to 15,000 households under five commissioned district metered areas. Besides, a majority of the slope stabilisation work has been completed. The project is being supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
