MoRTH approve funds for road projects in various states

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has approved funds for road projects in various states. These are:

  • Funds worth Rs 9,512.7 million have been approved for Tura Two Lane Bypass Project (NH-217) (NH-127B) in Meghalaya.

The project involves construction of a two-lane Tura Bypass with paved shoulder between existing 57.5 km of NH-127B (near 85.8 km of NH-217) (design chainage 0.0 km) and ending at existing 108.75 km of NH-217 (design chainage 29.03 km) (Length- 29.03 km) on Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).

  • Funds worth Rs 3,079.6 million have been approved for the Four Laning of Keshkal Bypass Project (NH-30) in Chhattisgarh.

The project involves four-laning with paved shoulders of 11.38 km long Keshkal bypass on NH-30 (Old NH-43).

  • Besides, in Rajasthan Rs 19,147.1 million has been approved for 40 state road projects of 1,000.90 km in length under the Central Road Infrastructure Fund (CRIF). These projects mainly include compulsion and widening of sections of various state roads (31 major district roads, 8 state highways and 1 other district roads).
