Feasibility study completed for Goa Water Metro Project 

The feasibility study for Goa Water Metro Project has been completed. Besides, detailed project report for the project is under preparation.

The Goa Water Metro Project is a proposed water transport system that aims to improve connectivity and ease traffic congestion across Goa. Based on a feasibility study conducted by Kochi Metro Rail Limited, nine routes covering approximately 111 km have been identified: Panaji-Narve, Betim-Old Goa, Old Goa-Sarmanas, Vasco-Cortalim, Cortalim-Durbhat, Old Goa-Cumbarjua, Panaji-Dona, Paula-Vasco, and Panaji-Chapora. An additional route connecting Chapora-Keri-Tiracol is also under consideration.
