Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has successfully launched 65 metres composite steel girder near the Bhayander West Road-over-Bridge (RoB) under the Mumbai Metro Phase III Line 9 project [Dahisar-Mira Road-Bhayander and Andheri (East)- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA)].
Besides, about 95 per cent progress has been achieved under the project.
The Line 9 of the Mumbai Metro project involves development of a 13.58 km metro corridor connecting Dahisar to Mira Road and Bhayander and Andheri (East)-CSMIA in Maharashtra at an estimated cost of Rs 66.07 billion.
