National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has completed 293 km of viaduct installation work on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail (HSR) Corridor Project. Besides, 375 km of pier construction and 394 km of pier foundation work have been completed.
Moreover, the 21 km long tunnel between Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and Shilphata has achieved 3.3 km of tunnel heading using the New Austrian Tunneling Method (NATM).
The project involves development of the 508.17 km long Mumbai-Ahmedabad HSR corridor in Maharashtra and Gujarat with an investment of Rs 1,080 billion.
