South Eastern Railway has achieved a cumulative freight loading of 156.86 million tonnes (mt) during 2024-25 (till December 2024), an increase of 1.63 per cent over the corresponding period of the last year. During this period, the zone also generated freight revenue of Rs 142.16 billion, which is 2.17 per cent higher than the same period last year.
Further, it registered coal loading of 41.38 mt during the same period.
