The joint venture (JV) of Soham Construction and Devsaru Developers and Builders Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 1,064.46 million for the implementation of the underground sewerage scheme (UGSS) in Akluj, Maharashtra under the Maharashtra Suvarna Jayanti Nagarothhan Mahaabhiyan. Bids for the same were invited by the Akluj Municipal Corporation in June 2024.
The scope of work includes construction of a 130 km long sewer network, sewage pumping station, receiving chamber/ screen chamber, pumping machinery, rising main, 4.5 million litres per day sewage treatment plant, treated water sump and other related infrastructure.
The work is likely to be completed in 18 months.
