The Ministry of Railways has sanctioned funds worth Rs 11.3 million and Rs 11.5 million, respectively for the final location survey works of the Machilipatnam-Repalle new railway line project and Repalle-Bapatla new railway line project.
The Machilipatnam-Repalle new railway line project involves laying a new 45.3 km long rail line from Machilipatnam to Repalle in Andhra Pradesh while Repalle-Bapatla new railway line project involves laying a new 45.81 km long rail line from Repalle to Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh.
