Oil India Limited (OIL) and its subsidiary Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) have entered into a long-term contract for the transportation of additional petroleum products via OIL’s Numaligarh-Siliguri product pipeline. The duration of the contract is 25 years, beginning from the commencement of the enhanced pipeline’s operations. Currently, OIL transports about 1.72 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of petroleum products through the Numaligarh-Siliguri pipeline, ensuring delivery to NRL’s marketing terminal in Siliguri, West Bengal.
