Air India, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), and Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) have forged a strategic alliance to offer check-in services at two DMRC metro stations.
Passengers flying internationally can now drop off their luggage at the New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations, eliminating the hassle of carrying baggage while exploring the city. The collaboration has led to the development of an advanced automated system by DMRC and DIAL, ensuring efficient loading of baggage onto aircraft.
Presently, this service is available for domestic travelers, and will now be extended to international travelers.
