An upcoming six-lane express highway spanning 72 km between Chitradurga and Davangere in Karnataka is poised to revolutionise travel between Bengaluru and Mumbai. Estimated to cost around Rs 14 billion, this project will enhance connectivity, promising time-saving, fuel-efficient, and eco-friendly travel options.
The construction of this expressway focuses on sustainability by incorporating materials like plastic in bituminous concrete and milling material in service roads. This development complements existing infrastructure initiatives, such as the highway between Nelamangala and Devihalli in Karnataka, further enhancing connectivity.
