Tata Power to acquire Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission project for Rs 8.38 billion

Tata Power Company Limited has received a letter of intent from RECPDCL to acquire and develop Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission Limited at an estimated cost of Rs 8.38 billion. This initiative involves the acquisition of Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission, a project-specific entity, through RECPDCL. The project will be developed under a build-own-operate-transfer model, offering transmission services for 35 years from the scheduled commercial operation date. It will commence operations 18 months from the acquisition of the project.
