J Kumar Infraprojects Limited has received letters of award (LoAs) for implementation of various road projects in Maharashtra. For Grant Road-Eastern Freeway Elevated Road Project, a joint venture (JV) of J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited (70 per cent) and RPS Infraprojects Private Limited (30 per cent) received LoA worth Rs 13,297.18 million for implementation of the project on March 5, 2024.
Bids for the same were invited by the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) in January 2024. The completion period of the work is 42 months. The project involves construction of elevated road from Eastern Freeway (Orange Gate) to Grant Road Area in Maharashtra.
For Ghansoli – Airoli Creek Bridge Project (Palm Beach Road Extension), the JV of J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited (70 per cent) and SMC Infrastructure Private Limited (30 per cent) received LoA worth Rs 4,929.9 million for implementation of the project on March 5, 2024. Bids for the same were invited by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) in November 2023. The project involves construction of 1.96 km of Creek Bridge connecting Ghansoli – Airoli along Palm Beach Road at Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai on EPC mode in Maharashtra.
It is a part of the proposed Regional Connectivity to Navi Mumbai International Airport. This connectivity is also a part of the Coastal Road from Thane to Sanpada as per the update of comprehensive transport study for Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Lastly, for Navi Mumbai (Amra Marg-MTHL, Airport link) Coastal Road Project (Ulwe Coastal Road), J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited has received LoA worth Rs 9,122.8 million for implementation of the project. Bids for the same were invited by City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO) in December 2023. The scope of current award involves Design and Construction of Coastal Road from 2.9 km to 5.8 km (MTHL junction) at Ulwe, Navi Mumbai. The entire project involves Amra Marg to MTHL coastal road of length 5.8 km and airport link of 1.2 km.
