60 per cent work on new project at Opa Water Works gets completed

Around 60 per cent work on the new project at Opa Water Works in Panaji has been completed. The work on intake wells was completed on February 21, 2024. The project worth Rs 290 million has been undertaken to increase the water supply to Panaji by 40 mld in addition to the existing 80 mld. These intake wells will receive water from the river which will be pumped to water treatment plant.
