The Government of Delhi is likely to allocate funds Rs 1.5 billion for the Delhi-Gurgaon-Rewari-Alwar Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) Project -Phase I and Rs 0.5 billion for the Delhi-Panipat RRTS Project. Besides, Rs 4 billion and Rs 1 billion is likely to be allocated for Delhi-Alwar RRTS and Delhi-Panipat RRTS respectively under the budget 2024-25. Delhi-Alwar RRTS involves development of a 106 km RRTS connecting Delhi-Rewari-SNB corridor in the states of Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan with an investment of Rs 249.75 billion. Delhi-Panipat RRTS involves development of 103.02 km long RRTS connecting Delhi to Panipat in the Haryana. It will have 17 stations including six in Delhi and 11 in Haryana.
