98 per cent of construction work of STP at Eidgah-Ali Jan Road, Greater Srinagar gets completed

About 98 per cent of the construction work of a STP at Eidgah-Ali Jan Road under the Comprehensive Sewerage Scheme for Zone III of Greater Srinagar has been completed. Besides, 99 per cent work on the trunk sewer line has been completed while the lateral sewer line has been entirely completed under the project. The project involves the construction of 60 mld capacity STP, laying of 42.95 km of trunk sewers and sub mains, 78.63 km of lateral sewer lines and 14.8 km of rider mains in Zone III of Greater Srinagar. The STP is being constructed at a cost of Rs 1.54 billion.
