Powergrid secures bid for two ISTS projects under BOOT basis

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has been declared as successful bidder under tariff based competitive bidding (TBCB) to establish two inter-state transmission system (ISTS) projects under build, own operate and transfer (BOOT) basis. The first ISTS project named as Transmission system for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Ph-IV (Part-1) (Bikaner Complex): Part-A comprises establishment of a new 765/400/220 kV pooling station at Bikaner-III, two 400 kV D/C and one 765 kV D/C transmission line traversing in the state of Rajasthan and associated bay extension works. The second project- Transmission system for evacuation of power from Rajasthan REZ Ph-IV (Part-1) (Bikaner Complex): Part-D comprises of establishment of a new 765 kV D/C transmission line traversing in the states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh along with associated bay extension works.
