The Gujarat Maritime Board (GMB) is planning to enhance the capacity, efficiency, safety and sustainability of its port operations. A master plan and an implementation plan are to be prepared for its non-major ports, up to the year 2047. The master plan shall include an assessment of the existing capacity of GMB-operated ports, while outlining the requirement of infrastructure such as terminals, berths, roads, railways and cargo-handling facilities.
