Ceigall-SAM JV wins LoA for civil construction contract for Jaipur Metro Rail Project Phase II

Joint venture (JV) of Ceigall India Limited and Sam India Builtwell Private Limited received letter of award (LoA) worth Rs 9,180.4 million for design and construction of elevated viaduct and ten elevated stations viz. Prahladpura, Manpura, Bilwa Kalan, Bilwa, Goner Mod, Sitapura, JECC, Kumbha Marg, Haldighati Gate and Pinjrapole Gaushala (excluding architectural finishing) from chainage (-) 600 metres to 11,400 metres including spur line towards Depot under the Jaipur Metro Rail Project Phase II on May 2, 2026. Ceigall holds 74 per cent share (Rs 6,793.49 million) and SAM holds 26 per cent share (Rs 2,386.9 million) of the contract.

Bids for the same were invited by Rajasthan Metro Rail Corporation Limited (RMRCL) in October 2025. The work is likely to be completed in 34 months at an estimated cost of Rs 11,451.4 million.

The project spans 41 km and entails investment of Rs 130.38 billion. The corridor runs from Todi Mod to Prahaladpura and has 36 stations in total (34 elevated and 2 underground). The project will be implemented by RMRC, a 50:50 joint venture of the government of India and the government of Rajasthan.
