Three firms in talks to acquire stake in Hero Future Energies

Petroliam Nasional Berhad, Masdar Clean Energy and Sembcorp are in talks with Hero Future Energies to acquire an equity stake of up to 30 per cent in the latter. Hero Future Energies is planning to raise around Rs 22.12 billion ($300 million) from the acquisition. JP Morgan is advising Hero Future on the stake sale process.
