Super Corridor II-Malviya Nagar stretch under Indore Metro Rail Project Phase I gets inaugurated

The Government of Madhya Pradesh inaugurated 11 km Super Corridor II – Malviya Nagar stretch under the Indore Metro Rail Project Phase I on September 5, 2026. The stretch comprising 11 stations, entail an investment of Rs 28.5 billion.

The increase in the cost is supported by funds worth Rs 53.88 billion and also funds worth Rs 65.82 billion for public-private partnership (PPP) component and the impact of internal borrowing.

The project involves development of a metro rail transit system comprising ring line of length 31.55 km. It is being implemented by Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited. The total project entails an investment of Rs 194.72 billion.
