Kaluwala Construction wins contract for implementation of Package I of Muzaffarpur-Darbhanga-Purnea Road Strengthening Project in Bihar

Kaluwala Construction Private Limited has won the contract worth Rs 2,241.6 million for implementation of Muzaffarpur-Darbhanga-Purnia Road Strengthening Project (NH-27) (Package I). Bids for the same were invited by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in July 2025.

The completion and defect liability period for the work is 12 months and 36 months, respectively.

Package I involves strengthening and major maintenance of the Muzaffarpur-Darbhanga-Purnea section (BR-09, BR-08, BR-07, BR-06) of NH-27, from 0.00 km to 145.646 km, in the state of Bihar, on an item rate (percentage) basis. (length: 145.646 km).
