Many global investors, including CDPQ, KKR, Cube Highways, and IRB Infrastructure Developers, have evinced interest in acquiring a 361-km highway asset under ToT 12 auction by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). KKR and CDPQ submitted bids via their infrastructure investment trusts (InvITs), namely, Highways Infrastructure Trust and India Highway Concession Trust, respectively.
The bids for the Lalitpur-Lakhnadon stretch of NH-26 in Madhya Pradesh have been submitted and the technical evaluation is underway. In a similar development, the 82-km-long Allahabad Bypass, has received only one bid, from Cube Highways, under the ToT 11 auction.
