The construction work on Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Metro Rail Project is likely to commence by December 2023. The project, estimated to cost Rs 41.7 billion, will be implemented on public-private partnership (PPP) mode and would run on specialised railway tracks which will be either entirely underground or partially under and over the ground.
