Mangaluru International Airport received platinum rating in GAR Programme 2023

Mangaluru International Airport has received a platinum rating in the Green Airports Recognition (GAR) Programme 2023 by the Airports Council International (ACI). This recognition is in the category of over eight million passengers per annum. The award was presented in Kobe, Japan at the 18th Asia Pacific Regional Assembly. ACI Asia Pacific presents these awards for the airports’ dedication towards sustainability initiatives. It also acknowledges the initiatives taken at the airport towards becoming one of the first airports to eliminate the use of single-use plastic.
