Gurugram Metro Rail Limited identifies land for second phase under Millennium City Centre-Cyber City Metro Rail Project

Gurugram Metro Rail Limited (GMRL) has identified land for the second phase under the Millennium City Centre-Cyber City Metro Rail Project (erstwhile HUDA City Centre – Cyber City Metro Rail Project). It has sought information from the Haryana Shahari Vikas Pradhikaran for the same. The land has been identified in Sector 7, Sector 4, Sector 5, Ashok Vihar, Sector 3, Bajghera, Palam Vihar Extension, Palam Vihar, and Sector 23A.

Besides, around Rs 4.09 billion is likely to be spent for the construction of the metro depot in Sector 33 for which a tender will be issued soon. The depot will be built on approximately 45 acres of land. The tender for second phase is likely to be issued by March 2026.

The project involves development of 30.5 km long metro route in Gurugram city of Haryana. It will be implemented by GMRL and will connect Millennium City Centre to Udyog Vihar Phase 5 and merge with Rapid Metro Rail, Gurugram at Moulsari Avenue station near Cyber City. It will also have a spur at Dwarka Expressway and Gurugram Railway station.
