BSNL partners Ciena to conduct 5G field trials

BSNL has entered into a partnership with Ciena to conduct 5G technology-based field trials on the latter’s next-generation converged packet optical platform. The two companies will work together closely over the next few weeks to evaluate front-haul, mid-haul and backhaul transport-based use cases in low-latency areas.
