The MoPNG has granted authorisation to seven companies for selling auto fuels in the country. These new approvals are under the relaxed guidelines for authorisation to market transportation fuels that were revised in 2019. The seven companies are Reliance Industries, RBML Solutions India, Indian Molasses Company, Assam Gas Company, Newly Incorporated Onsite Energy, MK Agrotech and Manas Agro Industries and Infrastructure and Manas Agro. These authorisations are expected to increase competition among petroleum retailers.
